Touring or bagger motorcycles are excellent for long-distance journeys, including interstate travels and daily commutes. However, in order to travel for several days or to and from your place of work, you need somewhere to store your personal items and necessary gear. While bagger bikes do typically come with some storage space, you may still want to add more. Here are some ways to do that.

Temporary Options

For storage upgrades that you can remove when you’re not going on a trip, try some temporary soft-sided or hard-sided cases that can be buckled or strapped to various parts of your bike. Soft-sided cases are best for items that aren’t very delicate, while hard-sided cases are more protective.

Permanent Storage

If you want permanent storage on your bike, you can install storage options that bolt on, such as a luggage rack. Motorcycle storage cases can also be securely anchored to your motorcycle.

Where to Put Pockets

Sometimes, you might just need a little more room for smaller items. There are a few places on your bagger motorcycle that are ideal for placing little pocket-shaped bags, such as tank bags that attach to your gas tank, under-seat storage, or even fender bags.
